Eight days after Tropical Storm Isaias left thousands of Long Islander’s in the dark, PSEG Long Island announced late Wednesday night that that the power had been turned back on for all the customers still effected by Tropical Storm related outages.  PSEG said on their website that 420,000 customers had been affected by the storm.  The utility company also said they utilized more than 6,500 line-workers, tree trimmers and other field personnel, working around the clock, in 16-hour shifts to get the power back on.
