The Suffolk County SPCA will be holding a Free Cat & Dog Food giveaway this Saturday, August 8, 2020 from 11 am until 3 pm or until the supply runs out.  Roy Gross, Chief of the Suffolk SPCA said that the agency hopes to help out those who may have suffered financial hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic. “We’re trying to help out the people who have been financially impacted because of job loss,” Gross said.
The pet food distribution will be held at the Long Island Portuguese American Center, 17 Third Avenue, Brentwood.
