Its not just electricity that some Long Islanders are doing without after Tropical Storm Isaias.  Many Long Islanders are still struggling with no Optimum service.  Some Optimum customers have contacted WALK and told us that their internet and phone service has been out for days.  Adding that they have been unable to get any information from Optimum about when service might be restored.  On Thursday we reached out to Optimum on Twitter about the outage and did not receive a reply.
