Suffolk Police say the Home Squad are investigating the death of a woman who was found in a Yaphank lake on Wednesday night. On July 29,2020 at 8:40pm, two people on shore found the body of 39 year old Delores Evans in Upper Lake on Mill Road. Evans, who has no known address, was transported to Long Island Community Hospital in Eats Patchogue where she was pronounced dead. An autopsy will be preformed to determine the cause of death.
