A woman was carjacked at gunpoint over the weekend in Wantagh

A woman was carjacked, at gun point, over the weekend in Wantagh.  Nassau police say Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 4:27 pm, a female victim, 41, was parking her car on Cypress Street, when she was approached by two male subjects who displayed a black handgun and ordered her to exit the vehicle.  The victim complied and both male subjects entered the vehicle fleeing northbound on Cypress Street.  No injuries were reported.

Both subjects are described as a male black, 6’0” tall, with a thin build.  The male subjects were both wearing a white T-shirt, dark pants, and blue face masks.  One of the male subjects was also wearing a crossbody backpack bag and a dark knit hat, while the second male subject was wearing a red knit hat.
