Suffolk Police are searching for two suspects who slashed a 49 year old Bay Shore man on Monday night. Authorities say July 20, 2020, just after 5pm, the victim was walking to his car, in the parking lot of Lowe’s Home Improvement store located on Sunrise Highway, when he was approached by two men. Police say one of the men had a knife and slashed the victim in the neck and hand. The two suspects fled the scene in separate vehicles. The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Detectives believe the victim was known to his attackers and was specifically targeted.
