Cops: Officer kicked in groin at Suffolk Protest

Suffolk Police say an officer was kicked in the groin on Sunday at a protest at Babylon Town Hall.  Authorities say they were at the scene of two protests outside of Babylon Town Hall, located at 200 Sunrise Highway, on July 19, 2020, a pro-police rally and a Black Lives Matter rally that was also attended by Black White Brown United. During the protests, an altercation began and officers intervened. Three people from the Black White Brown United group were arrested at approximately 2:15 p.m.

Rosalia Garay, 29, of Stony Brook, was arrested and charged with Harassment 2nd Degree and Obstruction of Governmental Administration 2nd Degree. She kicked one officer in the groin.

Noah Milstein, 23, of Massapequa Park, was charged with Obstruction of Governmental Administration 2nd Degree and Resisting Arrest. Lisa Strollo, 34, of Babylon, was charged with Obstruction of Governmental Administration 2nd Degree and Resisting Arrest.

All three were issued Desk Appearance Tickets.
