A 51 year old Lindenhurst man suffered serious injuries in an early morning crash. Police say on July 12,2020 just before 2am, Richard McDermott was driving a 2017 Ford F150 westbound on Daniel Street when he lost control and struck a tree. McDermott, 51, of 951 North Hamilton Ave., Lindenhurst, was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip where he was admitted with serious injuries.
