Kitten rescued from storm drain in Suffolk

A kitten was rescued from a storm drain in Terryville.  Suffolk County Police say Friday night, July 10, 2020, they responded to 39 Claymer Street at approximately 6 p.m. after a 911 caller reported a kitten had fallen into a storm drain. The officers notified the Emergency Service Section.  Emergency Service Section Officer Michael Viruet climbed into the drain and rescued the kitten.  The kitten was adopted by a local resident once removed from the drain.
