A 7 year old child is in serious condition at a local hospital, after police say he was found Thursday afternoon, in a Great River pool. Officials say they are investigating the circumstances surrounding an incident which lead to the child being found unresponsive in the water on July 9, 2020. Police say the boy was a relative of the home’s occupants on Pinetree Drive. The child was transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore and is expected to be transferred to Cohen’s Children’s Medical Center in New Hyde Park. Police are asking anyone with information to call the Third Squad at 631-854-8352.
