A kayaker, screaming for help, was rescued from the Long Island Sound in Oyster Bay, late Wednesday night. Officials say they received a call about a medical emergency in the Long Island Sound about a half mile from Center Island around 11:00pm on July 8, 2020. Police say a 27 year old man was found, clinging to his Kayak with no life vest. The man was treated by Nassau County medical personnel and is listed in stable condition.
