Suffolk County SPCA and Suffolk County Police say they rescued 3 dogs from a Hauppauge house over the 4th of July holiday weekend. Officials say 3 tan Yorkshire Terriers were living amongst feces, urine, garbage, and otherwise filthy living conditions. The 14 Del Place house, occupied by Lonnie Roth and Jamie Roth, had previously been declared unfit for habitation. Lonnie Roth and Jamie Roth were charged under section 353 of the NYS Agriculture & Markets Law: Failure to Provide Proper Sustenance. They were issued Field Appearance Tickets at the 4th precinct and are scheduled to return to First District Court, Central Islip, NY on July 24, 2020.
