Roosevelt man arrested for Public Lewdness

Nassau Police arrested a Roosevelt man for Public Lewdness that occurred on multiple dates in Nassau County.  According to detectives, on May 18, 2019, police responded to a call of a man exposing himself in public on Uniondale Ave. in Uniondale. Two victims, 14 and 15-year-old females, stated the subject was in the rear yard of a residence touching himself while looking at them. The subject fled the scene prior to police arrival.

On June 6, 2020, a 16-year-old male victim was jogging on Washington Avenue in Roosevelt when he was approached by an unknown male. The subject was in his car when he engaged the victim in conversation while exposing and fondling himself. The subject asked if he could take the victim home at which point the victim fled the scene. The subject drove away in an unknown direction.

After an investigation, Elmer Guerra, 35, was placed under arrest on July 4, 2020 at 3:20 p.m. at his residence at 88 Delisle Ave. in Roosevelt for the above incidents. He is charged with three (3) counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child and three (3) counts of Public Lewdness. He was arraigned on Sunday, July 5, 2020 in Mineola.
