A Wyandanch man was arrested in Selden for driving whlie intoxicated with his 6-year-old son in the vehicle. Officials say on Sunday, July 5, 2020 at 1:25 a.m., a police officer pulled over a 2003 Nissan Frontier after witnessing the driver make an illegal left turn. The driver, 37 year old Marcellus David, was arrested for DWI Under Leandra’s Law. The 6 year old was released to the custody of a family member. David was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated with a Child Passenger 15-Years-Old or Younger (Leandra’s Law) and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He was arraigned on July 5th.
