A Brookhaven man was seriously injured on the 4th of July, while he was trying to light off fireworks at a house in Central Islip. Police say 29 year old Brandon James, was attending a party at 26 Tamarack Street in Central Islip on July 4, 2020 when he lit a firework around 9:15 p. m. James was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital with serious hand injuries.
