Cops say man forced entry into Nassau apartment

Nassau Police arrested a Manhattan man on Monday, June 29, 2020 after he allegedly forced himself into a Uniondale apartment and stole an electric bicycle.  According to detectives, Kevin Carroll, 38, of 140 W. 104th Street, confronted a current resident at a Fenimore Avenue home and forced his entry into the residence where Carroll himself was a former renter. After gaining entry to the home Carroll made his way to the bedroom of another resident and removed an electric bicycle. Carroll then left the home with the bicycle and fled the scene.  911 was then contacted and responding officers located Carroll a short time later and placed him under arrest without incident. During his arrest processing it was determined that he was responsible for a similar incident at the same location on 6/22/2020 where an electric bicycle was also taken.  Carroll is charged with Robbery 2nd Degree, Attempted Robbery 2nd Degree, two (2) counts of Robbery 3rd Degree, two (2) counts of Attempted Robbery 3rd Degree, two (2) counts of Burglary 2nd Degree, two (2) counts of Attempted Burglary 2nd Degree, two (2) counts of Burglary 3rd Degree and two (2) counts of Burglary 3rd Degree. He will be arraigned on 6/30/2020.
