The soundtrack for “A Star is Born” has officially surpassed one million copies sold in the U.S. The album, which features the hit “Shallow,” is the top-selling album of 2019 so far. The last album to sell a million copies was also a movie soundtrack: “The Greatest Showman,” which was released in December 2017. “A Star is Born” is Lady Gaga’s fourth million-selling album, following “Born this Way,” “The Fame,” and “The Fame Monster.”
“Dumbo” opened up on top of the box office this weekend, but the earnings were lower than expected.
