Taylor Swift is turning 30 this year (December 13^th) and she wrote an essay for ELLE Magazine titled, “30 Things I Learned Before Turning 30.”  In it, she says she’s expecting her 30s to be her greatest years.  Along with life lessons when it comes to bullying, politics, and body image, Taylor revealed her mother’s cancer has returned.  Not only is this her mom’s second battle with cancer after first being diagnosed in 2015, but Taylor also revealed for the first time that her father also had cancer in the past.  Read the full essay HERE.

According to my birth certificate, I turn 30 this year. It’s weird because part of me still feels 18 and part of me feels 283, but the actual, factual age I currently am is 29. I’ve heard people say that your 30’s are ‘the most fun!’ so I’ll definitely keep you posted on my findings on that when I know. Helen Hunt and Paul Reiser have signed on to tape a limited series revival of “Mad About You.”  It will air later this year on Spectrum Originals.

Disney’s “Maleficent” sequel starring Angelina Jolie is coming to theaters sooner than we thought!  “Maleficent:  Mistress of Evil” will premiere October 18^th.  It was originally slated to be released in 2020.

Idris Elba will replace Will Smith as Deadshot in the “Suicide Squad” sequel.  Will had to pull out because of scheduling conflicts.  We’ll see the film in theaters August 6^th, 2021.
