Natalie Portman Apologizes to Jessica Simpson

Natalie Portman and Jessica Simpson had a public war of the words on Wednesday.  Jessica didn’t take too kindly to a comment Natalie made in a recent interview about Jessica appearing in a bikini years ago:  “I remember being a teenager, and there was Jessica Simpson on the cover of a magazine saying ‘I’m a virgin’ while wearing a bikini, and I was confused.  Like, I don’t know what this is trying to tell me as a woman, as a girl.”  After Jessica’s post, Natalie apologized:  “I didn’t mean to shame you and I’m sorry for any hurt my words may have caused.  I have nothing but respect for your talent and your voice that you use to encourage and empower women all over the globe.”

Justin Timberlake announced that his bruised vocal chords are still in the process of healing, so he now won’t be able to sing until at least next month.  He’s had to postpone multiple shows since October when he had to bail on his Madison Square Garden concert.  He is supposed to make that show up on January 31st.
