Lady Gaga was named Best Actress by the National Board of Review for her role in “A Star is Born.”  Her co-star, Bradley Cooper, was named Best Director.  All honorees will receive their awards Januarty 8th at a gala in New York City.

Kylie Jenner is tops Forbes’ list of Highest Paid Celebrities Under 30.  The makeup mogul, who is the youngest self-made billionaire, earned $166.5 million between June 2017 and June 2018.  She’s also the only person on the list who’s not an athlete or musician.  Here’s the top ten:

  1. Kylie Jenner – $166.5 million
  2. Ed Sheeran – $110 million
  3. Soccer star Neymar – $90 million
  4. Taylor Swift – $80 million
  5. The Weeknd – $57 million
  6. Basketball star James Harden – $46.4 million
  7. Musician Drew Taggart – $45.5 million
  8. Boxer Canelo Alvarez – $44.5 million
  9. Football star Derek Carr – $42.1 million
  10. Golfer Jordan Spieth – $41.2 million

John Krasinski admitted that he sobbed uncontrollably in the theater watching “Mary Poppins Returns” for the first time.  Of course, Mary Poppins is played by his wife, Emily Blunt.  As a guest on “Ellen,” he explained he went through an entire box of tissues in the first 20 minutes and had to get up from his seat to go find napkins!  He described it as “one of the most beautiful films.”  He said, “I think it’s exactly what everybody needs at the holidays.  It’s pure joy.”
