Beyonce celebrated her 37^th birthday earlier this week, and yesterday she posted some pictures of her celebration in Italy on Instagram along with a letter to her fans.  She talked about her accomplishments this past year, including touring with her family and releasing her album.  She also thanks her fans, her “Hive,” “for all the positivity and for the beautiful birthday wishes.”

At 36, I became a new mother of 3. I breastfed twins. I renewed my vows with my husband of ten years. I came back home to the stage to do Coachella, after pregnancy. Then my husband and I released our album together, Everything Is Love. And we’ve been touring with our family around the world, and loving it. This year has been monumental for me. I thank God for everyone in my life. Thank you for all the positivity and for the beautiful birthday wishes. I’m looking forward to continuing to learn from my past, living in the present, and surrendering to the future. I love you, Hive. B

Billy Joel will play a New Year’s Eve show at Nassau Coliseum this year.  The last time he played a December 31^st concert at the Coliseum was 25 years ago.

Netflix has picked up Kiefer Sutherland’s series “Designated Survivor.”  ABC had cancelled it after two seasons.  Ten new episodes will air on the streaming service next year.
