Add five more minutes onto The Oscars but this is totally worth it! Over the years the Oscars have gotten some flack for the types of movies that get nominated. A movie can be the highest grossing and get amazing reviews but no Oscar? Not anymore! Now there’s an Oscar for “Outstanding Achievement in Popular Film.” The point is to have a category of films that people have actually seen. Some are already calling it the “Popcorn Oscar.”
The category starts for the upcoming season and will probably have nominees like “Black Panther,” “Avengers: Infinity War,” and “Mission Impossible- Fallout.”
