Justin Bieber was spotted shopping in Manhattan this weekend wearing a Massapequa Chiefs sweatshirt! His fiancé, Hailey Baldwin, does have Massapequa and Long Island roots. Her father is Stephen Baldwin, who grew up in Massapequa and her grandfather taught social studies at Massapequa High School.
The cast of “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” signed an open letter in support of director James Gunn. Disney fired James Gunn for inappropriate tweets that had resurfaced from years ago. Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, and the rest of the cast all signed the statement calling for him to be brought back to the project.
In a recent TMZ interview, “Jeopardy!” host Alex Trebek hints that he’s getting ready for retirement. The 78 year old’s contract expires in two years, and Trebek said there’s a “50/50 [chance] and a little less” that he’ll stay with the show. He’s been the host since 1984. So who does he think would make a good replacement? He mentioned attorney and tv/radio correspondent Laura Coates and Kings play-by-play announcer Alex Faust.

Beyonce has reportedly been given “unprecedented control” over Vogue’s September issue and hired the first black photographer to ever shoot a cover for the magazine. This will be the first time editor-in-chief Anna Wintour gives up any part of the creative process behind a cover shoot. Beyonce reportedly hired 23 year old Tyler Mitchell.
WWE star Nikki Bella announced Monday that she and John Cena are officially done. “After I called off the engagement, we tried to work on our relationship to get back to where it was, and in order to move forward with our wedding. After much time and soul-searching alone and together, we have decided to officially part ways. I had a beautiful and loving 6-year relationship with a wonderful man. I have the utmost respect for John, but I know this is what’s best for me.” John has not commented publicly. This announcement comes three months after they called off their engagement to “work on their relationship.”
