Ed Sheeran has been added to the impressive list of performers at the Billboard Music Awards, along with Maren Morris and Zedd! They’ll join host Kelly Clarkson, Ariana Grande, Shawn Mendes, J-Lo, Janet Jackson, Dua Lipa, and more. The BBMAs air live Sunday night at 8pm on NBC.
“New Rules” singer Dua Lipa is very superstitious when it comes to her tour. She believes it’s bad luck to clink glasses, so there’s no toasting at any time while on tour. She explains, “Before a show in Stockholm, my band thought it’d be funny to cheers with water before our show. I was so mad at them, and we went on stage and literally everything went wrong. Everything.”
Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, accepted the Chopard Trophy at the Cannes Film Festival last night. The award highlights the up and coming generation of the international film industry. Previous recipients include Shailene Woodley and Marion Cotillard. This was the 27 year old’s first time at the festival.
