Did Katy compliment or diss Taylor Swift? On last night’s episode of “American Idol,” Luke Bryan asked an auditioner whom he looked up to as an artist, and he responded, “Sorry, Katy, Taylor Swift.” Katy replied, “Oh, you don’t have to be sorry!” The contestant then said he loved Taylor, to which Katy said, “I love her as a songwriter, as well.” Katy and Taylor have, of course, been feuding publicly for a long time now. She didn’t say she loved Taylor; she only said she liked her as a songwriter. Shade, you think?
