Sara Bareilles is teaming up with Duncan Sheik on a new project for Broadway – a musical take on “Alice in Wonderland.” Sara’s musical “Waitress” is still doing well on the Great White Way, and Duncan won a Tony Award for his work on “Spring Awakening.”
Disney has announced “Beauty and the Beast Live in Concert,” a special two-night event at the Hollywood Bowl May 25th and 26th. The cast includes Zooey Deschanel as Belle, Kelsey Grammer as Lumiere, Taye Diggs as Gaston, Rebel Wilson as LeFou, Jane Krakowski as Mrs. Potts, and “The Voice” alum Anthony Evans as The Beast.
Looks like ABC bringing back “American Idol” was a good idea! With 10.3 million total viewers over Sunday’s two hour premiere, it was the network’s largest audience in the 8pm hour since October 2012.
Beyonce and Jay-Z officially announced their “One the Run 2” tour on Monday. They’re coming to MetLife Stadium August 2nd.
Looks like Michael Cera may have gotten married and didn’t tell us! The 29 year old “Arrested Development” star was spotted with his girlfriend, Nadine, in Brooklyn over the weekend wearing what looks like a wedding band.
