Here’s a holiday fun fact I didn’t know…
In the 2000 film How The Grinch Stole Christmas the role of the Grinch was played by the comedian legend Jim Carey, who ended up winning a Golden Globe for the role. But did you know John Stamos was up for the part? In a recent episode of the podcast ‘Tis The Grinch Holiday Podcast he talked about how he almost got the part but was allergic to the prosthetics.
“I was originally going to play you in the movie that Jim Carrey got. Did you know that? I went to the makeup test. And I was allergic to the, you know, all the prosthetics.”
