Brentwood, NY- Over the weekend police in Suffolk County help Long Island high school students pick out dresses and tuxedo’s for the upcoming 2022 prom season. The annual event, Prom Impact, was held over two days at the Suffolk County Police Academy in Brentwood. Organized by the Suffolk County Association of Women Police, the event offered donated formal wear inducing more than 1,000 gowns and 300 suits and tuxedos for students to try on and take home free of charge. Some accessories including shoes, make up were also available to the students.
