East Farmingdale, NY- Finding a COVID-19 test in New York has been challenging with long lines and empty shelves. New York State, aware of the difficulty surrounding COVID testing says they will be opening several Mass COVID-19 Testing locations throughout the state, including two in New York City and one in Nassau County. Additionally, the state says that rapid COVID-19 tests will be made available at the Long Island COVID-19 Mass Vaccination sites at SUNY Old Westbury and Stony Brook University. And soon, New Yorkers will also be able to order from the state, a free PCR test that can be done at home, results they anticipate, should be available in 48 hours.
