20 years after her first commercial release of her debut single “Tim McGraw” and Taylor Swift is eligible for the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Taylor is among the nominees for the 2026 class. If selected Taylor would be the second youngest inductee. Stevie Wonder was the youngest in 1983 at age 32. Some of the other finalists are P!NK, Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of KISS, Sarah McLachlan, LL Cool J, The Go Go’s, Kenny Loggins, Randy Bachman and Burton Cummings of The Guess Who, and Richard Carpenter of The Carpenters. The 2026 inductees will be announced early next year.
