The Ryder Cup tees off this week at Bethpage Black, drawing an estimated 300,000 fans to Long Island. To handle the influx, roads around Bethpage State Park will be closed, and hotels in the area are fully booked.

With demand at a peak, some local residents are renting out driveways for parking, while others have listed their homes on Airbnb for more than $1,000 per night.

Officials urge visitors to plan ahead as the region prepares for one of the biggest sporting events in its history.
