Suffolk County district attorney Ray Tierney says he is considering the request of the family of a woman murdered in 1966 who asked him to grant serial killer Richard Cottingham immunity in the case in exchange for details about what happened to her.
Cottingham who has been definitively linked to 19 murders and is serving multiple life sentences says if he received immunity he would tell all he knows about Marilyn Simons, who was found dead in her car while out shopping in 1966.
