Next week demolition will begin at Green Acres Mall in Valley Stream as part of its estimated $130 million redevelopment.
The planned renovations include adding a ShopRite, entertainment venues, more restaurants and landscaped open spaces, with the aim of drawing higher-end tenants to the property. Work is expected to finish in the fall of 2027.
