Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive is Saturday, May 10

Island Harvest Food Bank, the National Association of Letter Carriers and the United States Postal Service are once again teaming up for the Annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive on Saturday, May 10. Long Islanders can donate by leaving nonperishable food items in a bag next to your mailbox before the regularly scheduled mail delivery for your letter carrier to pick up. Food collected locally will benefit Island Harvest Food Bank to help meet the demand to help Long Islanders who are facing food insecurity.

Ways You Can Help Stamp Out Hunger:

1. On Saturday, May 10, leave healthy, non-perishable food by your mailbox – your letter carrier will do the rest!

2. Be a community champion – tell your neighbors and share #stampouthunger on social media!

3. Register to volunteer – help us sort thousands of pounds of food!

4. Give a gift – $1 supports 2 meals. Your gift today helps us end hunger on Long Island!
