And just like that the 2020-21 Summer Games are over. Congrats to team USA for winning the most medals and the most amount of gold medals. Team USA took home 39 Gold medals, 41 silver, 33 bronze giving us a grand total of 113. China came in second with 38 gold medals, 32 silver and 18 bronze giving them a grand total of 88 medals.
The next summer games in 2024 will be held in Paris but in just 6 months the winter games will be here. The 2022 Winter Olympics will be held in Beijing, which held the Summer Olympics back in 2008. This will be the first city to host both the summer and winter games.
