Jeep Stolen From Car Dealer, Cops Offer Reward For Info

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Fourth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who stole a Jeep from a St. James car
dealership. A man entered Certified Headquarters, located at 873 Middle Country Road, on June 10 at approximately 2:50 p.m. inquiring about purchasing a vehicle. The man was given the keys to a 2016 Jeep Wrangler and fled in the vehicle, which had no license plates, when the employee became distracted.The man was described as Black, in his late teens or early 20s, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and approximately 125 pounds. He had a fade-style haircut with the tips dyed a red or orange and walked with a limp.  Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
