History Was Made In Hollywood

Did you watch The Oscars last night?! You didn’t miss much.  Chris Rock and Steve Martin didn’t host the show but they did the opening monologue that was actually funny! Lots of milestones.  Toy Story 4 took home Best Animated Feature making this only the second sequel in a franchise to win 2 awards, the other was Good Fellas.  Joaquin Phoenix took home the award for Best Actor continuing the success for actors who portray The Joker.  Parasite took home 4 awards including Best Picture making this the first non-English language film to win Best Picture at the Oscars.Parasite also took home Best Director, International Feature Film and Original Screenplay.  1917 took home 3 awards, Joker took home 2 as well as Once Upon A Time In Hollywood and Sound Editing.
