It’s no surprise after the super successful first installment last year that Captain Marvel is getting a sequel! Captain Marvel 2 is in the works with a staff writer from WandaVision, Megan McDonnell, working on the script. The directors of the first movie, Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, will not return but are in talks on other Disney+ series. Word is Marvel is hoping to get a female director for the sequel but that’s all we know so far. Chances are both Brie Larson and Samuel L. Jackson will be returning. We don’t even know if it’s still a prequel movie or will take place after the events of Avengers Endgame .. even that credit scene in Spiderman: Far From Home.
