Top Ten Highest Paid Actresses

Scarlett Johansson is 2019’s highest paid actress, according to Forbes.  This is the second year in a row the “Black Widow” star topped the list, earning $56 million.  The majority of that paycheck is from Marvel.  The top ten highest paid actresses of 2019 are:

  1. Scarlett Johansson – $56 million
  2. Sofia Vergara – $44.1 million
  3. Reese Witherspoon – $35 million
  4. Nicole Kidman – $34 million
  5. Jennifer Aniston – $28 million
  6. Kaley Cuoco – $25 million
  7. Elisabeth Moss – $24 million
  8. Margot Robbie – $23.5 million
  9. Charlize Theron – $23 million
  10. Ellen Pompeo – $22 million

Disney’s D23 Expo dropped some major news for fans at the biannual convention, and for the first time ever we’re getting a look at what to expect from their Disney+ streaming service this fall, which is set for a November 12th launch.  “High School Musical” is back for a series with a new cast.

Two “Star Wars” series will also stream:  “The Mandalorian” about Boba Fett the Bounty Hunter, as well as a series based on Obi Wan Kenobi starring Ewan McGregor.

Anna Kendrick and Bill Hader will star in “Noelle,” a Christmas movie about Santa Claus’ children.

We finally have our “Breaking Bad” movie!  Netflix released a teaser trailer for “El Camino:  A Breaking Bad Movie.”  It will be available on the streaming service October 11th.

“Angel Has Fallen” outperformed expectations at the box office this weekend.
