Who’s Suing Carrie Underwood?

Carrie Underwood is being sued, along with NBC and the NFL, are being sued by a songwriter who claims they ripped her off.  Heidi Merrill claims that she wrote the “Sunday Night Football” theme, “Game On.”  Heidi says she gave the song to one of Carrie’s producers, but was told it would not be used.  She’s suing for an unspecified amount for copyright infringement.  Here’s both versions of the songs, what do you think?

Would Oprah consider a daytime comeback?  “ET” asked if she’d be up for a reboot of her daily talk show.  The 65 year old said, “I would love to make that happen, let me tell you.  But maybe not every day.”  Oprah said she especially misses her show when something big is happening in the news, like an election.

“Game of Thrones” actor Kit Harrington is out of rehab and was spotted back home in London.  He had entered treatment for stress and alcohol use just before the series finale of GOT aired.

Meantime, filming on the “Game of Thrones” prequel pilot is underway in Ireland.  The story is set thousands of years before the original series.

“Murder Mystery” starring Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston is breaking records!  It was the biggest opening weekend ever for a Netflix movie, with 31 million unique accounts watching it in the first three days.

The “Trolls” sequel is coming!  Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick return in “Trolls World Tour,” in theaters April 17, 2020.  Kelly Clarkson, Mary J. Blige, and Ozzy Osbourne have also joined the cast.
