Amarillo Independent School Board To Meet Tuesday

The Amarillo Independent School District Board of Trustees will meet Tuesday afternoon at 5:30 in the Rod Schroder Education Support Center at 7200 I-40 West. The board will hold a public hearing on Targeted Improvement Plans for Campus Performance in accordance with the Texas Education Code. They will consider an amendment to the 2026-2027 budget and the Superintendent Appraisal Instrument. The Board is expected to approve a list of physical education substitutions for Middle School, an Interlocal agreement with Amarillo College and Ector County ISD and a Third Party Employment Agreement for Director of Arts Education. They will also hear numerous reports and be updated on financial information. There will be a time for public comments.
