Lots of Disney announcements over the weekend from Disney! Disney held its D23 event in California and made lots of announcements for Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar, the parks and more!
Walt Disney Imagineering expanded upon some of the announcements we got at the last D23 event including Monstropolis phase 1 opening next year at Disney's Hollywood Studios, DreamFinder returning to Journey Into Imagination with Figment at Epcot and The Tropical Americas at Disney's Animal Kingdom featuring an Encanto attraction and the 1st ever Indiana Jones attraction with Indy himself Harrison Ford. They also confirmed some of Villains Land in The Magic Kingdom including a Maleficent Roller Coaster. (what you need to know for trivia is in this paragragh)
Marvel Studios showed a new trailer for Avengers Doomsday and VisionQuest. They also introduced us to the X-Men and Adam Driver will be a part of it as Mister Sinister. Disney animation showed the first few minutes of Frozen III, and gave a few other updates on upcoming movies. In the world of Pixar we got a look at Incredibles 3 and Coco 2. Star Wars brought at Ryan Gosling to talk about "Star Wars: StarFighter" coming out next year.
