The Veteran’s Build Better Businesses (VB3) is proud to help the Marine Reserves celebrate their inception over 110 years ago. VB3 is hosting a birthday celebration on Saturday, August 29th at Martin-Bishop Field (Fireman’s Field) in Guilford. Ticket prices start at $10, and the ticket will include food, drinks, and live music. There will be additional entertainment in the form of 50/50 raffle, silent auctions, and other lawn games.

VB3’s mission is to help veterans conceptualize their business ideas, help them grow from start-up to survivable to sustainable with the guidance from other veteran business owners and corporate sponsors.

Hosting this birthday celebration and inaugural non-profit event will be WPRI-TV Sports Director, Sam Knox. 99.1 PLR will be in attendance. Local bands will be providing live music.

This event was made possible by the generous support from the local Connecticut community. In-kind donations were made by individuals, ‘ma and ‘pa shops and corporate sponsors. The organization will be showing our immense gratitude with the “Interactive

Wall of Thanks.” It will be a way for VB3 to show our gratitude and the companies to promote their businesses.

VB3 would like to personally thank Apicella’s Bakery, Hummel Brothers, Foxon Park, Lyman Orchards, the Captain of the Aubrey Joy, Chris’ Shooting Ranger, Mar-Len Printing and Mailing, the Guilford VFW, and too many generous individuals.
