Steve Carell has quite the career, but he may best be known for his comedy work in movies and of course as Michael Scott in the NBC sitcom “The Office.” He takes on a new comedy series for HBO. The comedy takes place on a college campus and focuses on Carell’s character and his complicated relationship with his daughter.
“HBO has long been a standard bearer of quality TV. Getting to do a show there with Steve Carell is an immediate career highlight for Matt and me. Nothing can go wrong now,” Bill Lawrence (co creator of Scrubs) said.
You can currently catch Steve in his Office costar’s John Krasinski’s new film, IF (Imaginary Friend).
