Tonight is the return of Abbott Elementary. Season 3 kicks off tonight fresh off creator and star Quinta Brunson’s Emmy win for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy. This isn’t the first Emmy win the show has received. The show took home Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series in 2022, Sheryl Lee Ralph took home Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy in 2022, Outstanding Casting for a Comedy Series also in 2022 and has been nominated a total of 15 times.
