State urges vaccines after Polio found in wastewater samples

East Farmingdale, NY- New York State Health Officials are urging all New Yorkers who are un-vaccinated for Polio, to go ahead and get that vaccine, after the virus was detected in wastewater samples in Rockland County.  New York State Health Commissioner Mary T. Basset said Polio is “a dangerous disease with potentially devastating consequences…”
