Kids account for 27% of all COVID-19 cases in the U.S.

East Farmingdale, NY- Children now account for 27% of all COVID-19 cases in the U.S., according to a newly released report from the American Academy of Pediatrics. The AAP says, “over 173,000 cases were added the past week, with nearly 850,000 child cases added over the past 4 weeks”.

Here at home, The New York State COVID-19 Report Card has recorded almost 4,000 cases of COVID-19 in schools on Long Island, since September 13, 2020.
