Looking good isn't always easy --or cheap! Here's a few suggestions to look like a million bucks on a beer budget.
   1. Spray Starch for Styling. Those sassy 50's ponytails kept their shape thanks to a dose of laundry starch, which is more powerful than average hair spray.
   2. Tea Bags to Repair Damaged Nails. Rescue your manicure by gluing a bit of the filter from a tea bag under the nail.
   3. Almonds as Eyeliner. Light one of these nuts on fire, let it burn, then use the soot as powder eyeliner. It's all natural and the oil makes it stick to your lash line.
   4. Baking Soda to Fix Self-Tanner Streaks. There's nothing worse than orange stripes outside the zoo. Exfoliate with soda --it will be much more gentle on your skin than scrubbing.
   5. Freeze (or Burn) Your Eyeliner. If pencil eyeliner breaks during application, throw it in the freezer for a half-hour. If it refuses to spread, hold it over a lighter for a second and let it cool.
