According to a recent survey, 20 million Americans are attending a party this weekend for the Big Game and... those party plans are so important to people that they're made an average of 41 days in advance.

So, if you're one of those 20 million Americans preparing to party this weekend, brace yourself for the massive amounts of food that will be prepared and consumed ...

  • People will eat 8 million pounds of popcorn and 28 million pounds of chips on Sunday.
  • The Big Game has become the biggest day for guacamole, with 69.6 million pounds of avocados being mashed up and inhaled.
  • Pizza sales go up 35 percent the day of the Big Game.
  • Dips and spreads are top choice at 30 percent for food to eat during the Big Game, followed by chicken wings (22 percent), pizza (17 percent), chips and salty snacks (14 percent), and burgers and hot dogs (9 percent).

As for me, on Sunday, I will be eating wings and, lots of them!  If you want to make the most delicious wings, follow this simple recipe.

You will need:
1 package of wings
Bulls-Eye BBQ sauce
Texas Pete Buffalo wing sauce
Molasses
Honey
Hot Paprika
Pepper
1 glass baking dish

Evenly distribute the wings in a glass baking dish, season with hot paprika and pepper, smother in bbq sauce, drizzle molasses, honey and Texas Pete Buffalo wing sauce.  Cook at 375 degrees, basting occasionally-- for about 2 hours or until the meat falls off the bone.  Make sure you stock up on napkins!!
