Eastport (WALK) - If you can help police catch an iPhone thief, there may be some money in it for you.
A $5,000 reward has been offered by detectives trying find a woman who stole a cell phone form an employee at a grocery store in Eastport last month. According to police, she was was one of two women who approached an employee at the courtesy counter of the King Kullen on Eastport Manor Road. While the women engaged in conversation with the employee, one of the suspects stole the employee’s white iPhone 4.
The suspected phone thief was caught on tape by a security camera inside the store (photo at left).
The incident took place on June 12 at approximately 6:45 PM, according to police. The suspect is described only as Hispanic.
